Blast Logger Model BL-1

Overview and features

  • The Blast Logger is designed to download blast data stored on Window Delay Shot Exploders. The main functions of the BL-1 are:
  • Read Time – to compare the Exploder time to the BL-1.
  • Send Time – used to update the Exploder.
  • Data Viewer – information regarding the last 10 blast events and non-blast events, is provided. The unit information such as serial number, calibration date and battery voltage are also available.

Operation

  • On powering up the BL-1 displays the date, current time and certification date. Using the keys the menus are accessed allowing useful diagnostic data to be downloaded.
  • This unit is powered by a rechargeable battery and is capable of 150 hours of continuous use. The battery must be charged with a specially designed charging cube when not in use.

Notice and Maintenance

  • All service work to be performed by authorized AEC Electronics personnel only.
  • Not approved for use in fiery mines.
  • Logger should only be charged with supplied charging cube.
