Statsafe® Shot Exploder Model 281Overview and features
The 281 is capable of firing up to 20 Type 1 electric initiators/detonators connected in series, where the circuit resistance does not exceed 20Ω.
Operation
- Operation is by means of a key switch which automatically fires after a delay of 1.5-3 seconds. An indicator light flashes when firing is taking place.
- The 281 is powered by a replaceable PP3 9V Alkaline battery and is capable of at least 1500 firings. The battery must be replaced when firing time exceeds 3 seconds.
Notice and Maintenance
- All service work must be performed by authorized AEC Electronics personnel only.
- Not approved for fiery mines.
- The 281 should only be opened to replace PP3 9V Alkaline battery.
